As a professional genealogist I could most likely help you find your long lost relatives in Sweden. Maybe you are planning a trip to Sweden? I could help you find out about the area your ancestors came from and maybe even your ancestor’s graves.
Contact me and let me know what you know. Then I will do a free check, one hour maximum, to see if there is a way to find the person you seek. If I don’t find that person, or if I can’t find her or his ancestors, I will let you know. It won’t cost you anything. If you want me to search deeper and for a longer time, you decide for how many hours I shall search and you will be charged accordingly.
Old documents
Do you have old documents written in Swedish? It could be letters or post cards written from relatives in Sweden to the loved ones who left the country. It could also be other documents written in Swedish that you want to have deciphered and translated to English. Contact me and I will instruct you how to send a photo of the document to me. Then I get back to you with a price estimate.
Pricing
The price of the service is related to the time spent finding the result. Contact me through this form and describe your requests as thoroughly as possible and I will get back to you with a price suggestion shortly.

Fixed prices
If you have name and birth data for a person born in Sweden, between the years 1890 and 1950, I have fixed prices on family trees plus a personal record for every person found.
The trees include birth and death data (date and location) for each person. If found, it also include date of marriage. Click on the photo on the left to view a larger version of the tree.
The personal records contain the same data as the tree plus sources for where I found each record. Click on the button below to download an example of a personal record.

If I for some reason do not find a person, the prices above are reduced by USD 10 for each person not found.
It is also possible to start with a person born earlier than 1890 or later than 1950, but then I probably will charge by the hour. Contact me and I will try to find that person.
Payment method
When the work is done, I send you an invoice for the total amount. For long assignments I will send invoices for a part of the total sum while I am working. Of course I keep you informed with what I find during the long assignments.
Payment is made through PayPal. It is not nessecary for you to have a PayPal account in order to pay.
It is also possible to make the payment through a bank transfer.
